A group of us visited a coffee production initiative. The organic coffee and beans are sold in Pokhara.Coffee beans in their pods on the tree, Ellie greatly enjoying picking the beans. Must be picked individually using two fingers and a thumb.
The floating pods are removed and they contain damaged beans. Children enjoyed this.
Bean are allowed to dry in the sun for 14days ~7% moisture content.Then roasted and ground ready for packing.
